Gas smell when oven turned on
When the oven or broiler is first turned on, there is a strong gas smell for a couple minutes. I've watched the ignitor and it comes on immediately after the oven is turned on, but the flame doesn't start up until about 50 seconds after it is started. The installation manual says that 20-40 seconds is normal. Is this slight delay of about 10 seconds causing gas to escape during the ignition phase? If so, is there a valve that releases gas to the oven that is doing so prematurely? Not sure what to fix here.
